View home dashboard view for a specific storage system

The home dashboard view for a specific storage system provides a view of its status in terms of performance, system health, storage group compliance, capacity, and replication.

Prerequisites

The user requires a minimum of Monitor permissions to perform this task. See Roles and associated permissions to determine the user roles that can perform this task.

The home dashboard view for a specific storage system provides a view of the status of a specific storage system. The following panels are displayed:

  • OVERVIEW
  • SG COMPLIANCE
  • CAPACITY
  • PERFORMANCE
  • PROTECTION

To view the home dashboard view for a specific storage system:

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Systems.
    The dashboard view for all storage systems is displayed.
  2. Select a storage system.
    The OVERVIEW dashboard is displayed by default (see View the System Health Dashboard).
  3. Click SG COMPLIANCE to view the storage group compliance dashboard (see View overall Storage Group Compliance dashboard).
  4. Click CAPACITY to view the capacity dashboard (see Understanding resource usage).
  5. Click PERFORMANCE to view the performance dashboard (see View performance and capacity dashboard for a specific storage system).
  6. Click PROTECTION to view the protection dashboard (see View Protection dashboard).
  7. To go to other areas, click any of the following menu items in the left panel:
    • Overview
    • Dashboard
    • Storage
    • Hosts
    • Data Protection
    • Performance
    • System
    • Events
    • Serviceability-only applies for storage systems running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).

    To contract or expand the menu in the left panel, click the arrows icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
